We Don't Agree, But...

Health Care and Tax Cuts

The Census Bureau reports that 43.6 million people, or 15.2% of the population lack health-care coverage. Combine this with the increase in poverty and the decrease of the median income the Bureau reported last week and you have the makings of a problem.

Maybe it is time for another tax cut. Our illustrious president "knows" that the best economic medicine is a tax cut. He has applied it 3 times already. Judging by the grand success it has been, maybe we need a new tax cut.

Whose taxes should we cut? Those without health-care coverage? Of course not. Let's cut the taxes of health-care insurers and providers.

Let us cut taxes until there are no taxes to cut. This will assure that everyone has health-care coverage. Rah, rah, rah!
